I truly believe that anything can be resolved if we just communicate with each other.

To answer your question, I'd have to say "NO!" Communication is crucial, and not just in monologue, in dialogue.

My husband and I have had cause through the years to play the "game" "Let me tell you what I just heard"; often, the hearers interpretation of what was said is nowhere NEAR what the speaker was meaning. This has helped us more often than not.

Here from the Family Life carnival; good suggestions here :)

Kailani - you wrote, "I truly believe that anything can be resolved if we just communicate with each other."

I really believe this too - it is always fascinating, to me, when I want to avoid talking about something - when I have to push myself to be part of the dialogue -

Robin - I love that you have have a game in which you and your spouse do a "check-in" on interpretation and meaning. That sounds so helpful. Thanks.

My husband and I have survived a lot in our 17 years of marriage. We have experienced everything almost from soup to nuts. I really believe that if you want to make any relationship work, you have to be honest with your feelings for one another. If you can't find a way to communicate, you might as well forget it. I also believe that being able to forgive yourself, and each other is key. Humor also helps. ;o)
